Victorian Tea Party

The Friends of the George Hail Free Library will be hosting a Victorian Tea Party from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 23. Come and help celebrate 135 years of continued educational, arts and cultural programs and services in the East Bay community. Fancy hats and Victorian themed attire are welcome, but not required.

Savory and sweet light fare will be served along with a selection of teas. Over two dozen local businesses have donated items and gift certificates for a silent auction taking place from 1 to 3 p.m. as part of the fundraiser. In addition, handmade tea cozies will be available for sale.

Tickets are available at the library at $25 each (cash or check only) or online (see link below). Tickets will also be available at the door the day of the tea for $30 (cash or check only). Tickets are limited to 75 guests. Accessible seating is available in the lower level Youth Services Library by request.
