Imago's ‘BIG SHOW’ showcases nearly 250 artworks created by regional artists

Imago Foundation for the Arts (IFA) announces “THE BIG SHOW,” an open community exhibit, kicking off on January 11 and running until January 31 at Imago Gallery, 36 Market Street, Warren, Rhode Island.

Join us for a public reception on Saturday, January 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. in honor of the 107 extraordinary artists participating in this year’s exhibit. Cash awards will be presented during the reception.

Additionally, Imago members will be noting their favorite works with Imago Recognition labels. These special accolades, extended by the organization, aim to acknowledge the exceptional talent reflected in this year’s submissions and our heartfelt gratitude to participants for helping us present an exhibition that truly captures the essence and diversity of the regional artistic community.

This year, the exhibit exceeded past community exhibitions by attracting 107 artists and 248 artworks representing a wide array of media, styles, and subject matter. Both two-dimensional and three-dimensional work is included.

Don’t miss the opportunity to purchase and collect exceptional works of art on a cash-and-carry basis throughout the exhibit as you immerse yourself in the vibrant world of art at “THE BIG SHOW.” Regular gallery hours for the exhibit are Thursdays 12-3, Friday and Saturday noon to 6 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.

IFA is a non-profit organization run by artists for artists. Its mission is to inspire creativity and promote art-making that enriches our communities. IFA does this by providing a supportive community and exhibition space for member and guest artists. IFA also focuses on art programming for the public and collaborative projects with other local and regional organizations to promote the arts.
