Imago Foundation for the Arts (IFA) will host a presentation by IFA Exhibiting Artist Rina Naik and interior decorator Melanie Pellegrini of Pellegrini Design, at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 12 at Imago Gallery, 36 Market Street, Warren, in conjunction with its exhibit, Chromatics: Deconstructed Landscapes.”
All are welcome to attend this free event.
The two women will discuss Naik’s multi-media studies of chromatics and deconstructed landscapes which are featured in the gallery and lead a discussion on color and its impact on spaces and its influence on the way we live and experience our lives.
Naik is an interdisciplinary artist who explores tangible and intangible human experiences in the landscape. In her artwork in this exhibit, she explores the dissolution of boundaries between painting, sculpture, and immersive installation through the interplay of translucent planes, reflective surfaces, and manipulated light.
Based in Lincoln, Massachusetts, with 17 years of professional experience in both commercial and residential design, Pellegrini holds a BFA in Graphic Design from MassArt and an MA in Interior Design from Suffolk University. She has a passion for breathing new life into historic New England homes, harmoniously blending the character and craftsmanship of original architecture with a curated mix of timeless antiques and contemporary pieces suited for modern living.
