Ink Fish Books is proud to be a partner bookstore for this free community event with Barrington Land Conservation Trust featuring John Kostrzewa — author of the new book “Walking Rhode Island: 40 Hikes for Nature and History Lovers with Pictures, GPS Coordinates, and Trail Maps.”

John Kostrzewa worked for twenty-nine years at “The Providence Journal,” and has been hiking across Rhode Island for decades. In 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic, he launched “Walking Rhode Island,” a hiking column posted online and published in the “Sunday Providence Journal.” He has since written about more than 100 trails and will share insights from the book, answer questions, and sign copies.
