Wanted: Super Hero/Intern

We at Discover Warren are looking for a marketing intern to help out with the following:

* social media tools (Twitter, Facebook, this blog, Pinterest, etc.)
* merchant outreach
* managing press releases and media contacts
* grassroots marketing strategies

This amazing person will have the opportunity to help our fledgling merchants group craft and execute a marketing strategy as well as do fun things like create blog posts and help us with events. This internship is unpaid but we are happy to help you get course credit for your work (so we’re looking at you, Roger Williams students!). Some of this stuff can be done from home so if you live in the Providence/Newport area, that’s good enough for us.

Give us a shout with your resume and/or a writing sample, and tell us a little about yourself. We are at info@discoverwarren.com. Can’t wait to enslave work with you!

Book Exchange Party!

Stop by The Wooden Midshipman (146 Water Street) tomorrow at 6pm for a Book Exchange Party to benefit the George Hail Free Library. Bring gently used books to trade with others; all leftovers will be donated to the library along with 10% of sales from the event.

Refreshments provided, of course! See you there.
